Dwayne Haskins Reveals What’s He’s Been Told About Steelers Starting QB Job

Ben Roethlisberger is calling it a career.

At least that’s what all signs are pointing to, which means it’s time to find for Mike Tomlin to find his replacement.

The Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach recently spoke about the upcoming QB situation, and he pretty much said it’s going to be an open competition between Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins.

According to current third stringer Dwayne Haskins, the Steelers have told him that he’ll get his chance.

“They’re giving me a chance to compete, a chance to start, and that’s all I can ask for.”

What did Dwayne Haskins do to show the Steelers this season he can still be a starter in the NFL? "I have a great relationship with Coach Tomlin and other guys who make decisions here so they can get to know me and my personality. … I think I can throw with the best of them."

The Steelers will most likely look to keep things in house, unless someone like Aaron Rodgers wants to play for them.

But it does appear like it will either be Haskins or Rudolph as the starter for next season, nothing too exciting for Steelers nation.
