Dustin Johnson is one of the golf world’s favorites to win this weekend’s Masters Tournament at Augusta National.

Johnson had a very strange response when asked about his favorite tradition of the weekend. Most people would light up when asked this question. Augusta National is widely regarded as the most beautiful course in the world. The weekend itself has a set of unique traditions for the players and their families. For Dustin Johnson? It’s more about the food.

“For me, I don’t know if it’s really a tradition, but my favorite thing about The Masters is the sandwiches,” Johnson says.

This is a very on-brand answer for Dustin Johnson, who never really gets too sentimental. Answering like that is part of what makes DJ such a great golfer. He never gets too high, never gets too low. In the game of golf, that’s a trait you need.

It can a grind out on the course, but Johnson is known for his perseverance and he has a well-earned reputation as one of the longest drivers in the game of golf. We’ll see if Dustin Johnson can make a run this weekend for what would be his first green jacket. He finished tied for second place in last years Masters.

In Johnson’s defense, Augusta National probably does have the dankest food. Have all the sandwiches you want this weekend, Dustin.
