Doug Pederson Responds After Brett Favre Says The Eagles Messed Up By Committing To Carson Wentz

Former Packers quarterback Brett Favre has a 'gut feeling' about Aaron Rodgers future as a member of the team amid all the speculation

Brett Favre is not a fan of the Eagles decision to stick with Carson Wentz over Nick Foles. Favre went on ESPN’s “First Take” and dropped this opinion on how he would’ve handled the Eagles quarterback situation.

“I actually thought that they should have kept Nick Foles rather than Carson Wentz just based off of production and where they got to,” Favre said on Tuesday.

Doug Pederson responded to Favre’s opinion.

“Carson Wentz is our guy,” Pederson proclaims.

Maybe this is why Brett Favre isn’t running an NFL team. Nick Foles had a great run in Philly, but has done nothing since. He has also looked awful during his short stint with the Chicago Bears. It’s possible that Wentz and Foles are just both not very good, and they were propped up by what was a rock solid roster in Philadelphia.

Either way, I’d still pick Wentz over Foles if you had a gun to my head.
