Donald Trump Calls Out Megan Rapinoe And USWNT After Olympics Loss: ‘Radical Group of Leftist Maniacs’

Former president Donald Trump had a lot to say about the 'wokeism' of Megan Rapinoe and the USWNT after their Olympics loss to Canada

Former president Donald Trump has had it out for Megan Rapinoe and the U.S. women’s soccer team ever since they knelt for the National Anthem to protest inequalities in our country.

After the U.S. women lost to Canada at the Tokyo Olympics, Trump made sure to rub it in with a highly unusual statement.

“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze,” Donald Trump said in his statement.

Donald Trump would continue

“Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. There were, however, a few Patriots standing. Unfortunately, they need more than that respecting our Country and National Anthem.

They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again. The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”

The ‘purple hair’ woman Donald Trump is referring to is Megan Rapinoe, who has used her voice to protest some disparities between men and women, specifically athletes. She has clashed with Trump in the past.

After the loss, Rapinoe was clearly distraught.

“It sucks,” said US forward Megan Rapinoe via TPS. “Obviously, you never want to lose. You never want to lose in a world championship, you never want to lose to Canada, obviously, and you never want to lose playing the way we did.

“Every player in the locker room has 100 things that we would all want to do better and that’s the most frustrating thing for all of us. It’s sad because these things only come around every so often. It’s a tough one to swallow.”

We’ll see if Megan Rapinoe or any other member of the USWNT has a response for Donald Trump.
