Donald Trump Trashes Dr. Fauci, Throws Shade At Terrible First Pitch

There is no love lost between Donald Trump and Dr. Anthony Faci. This time, Trump is really not holding back on what he thinks of Fauci. Not only is Trump coming at the doctor for how he has handled the Coronavirus pandemic, but he’s bringing his athletic ability (or lack thereof) into question.

I a conference call with campaign staff, President Trump declared that people were sick of Fauci and Covid-19.

“People are tired of Covid,” he said via The New York Times. “I have the biggest rallies I’ve ever had. And we have Covid. People are saying, ‘Whatever. Just leave us alone.’ They’re tired of it.”

He added, ““People are tired of hearing Fauci and these idiots, all these idiots who got it wrong.”

Trump’s comments came after Fauci went on 60 minutes, and negated the idea that the end of the pandemic was just around the corner. Trump didn’t stop there, though. He had to take to Twitter to continue to play the role of tough guy.

“Also, bad arm!” This guy is like a five year old who gets proven wrong in an argument and proceeds to throw a tantrum. Once he gets into “tantrum mode”, nothing is off the table. In this instance, it’s a first pitch Fauci threw for his beloved Washington Nationals on Opening Day over three months ago. The pitch was pretty bad.

Twitter reacted to Trump’s most recent outburst.

Yeah, Fauci’s first pitch was pretty awful, but it’s not like Trump is a world-class athlete either. Just like Trump tells athletes to “stick to sports” maybe he should stick to politics. While he’s at it maybe he can take the advice of doctors and medical professionals when dealing with a widespread disease. He’ll probably just continue to trust his own intuition, though. It’s gotten him this far.
