Brian Kelly has been heavily criticized for leaving Notre Dame players high and dry prior to a potential CFB Playoff game to take over at LSU. Which means that all the dirt on the longtime Fighting Irish coach is currently being dug up.

One story involving current NFL coaches Robert Saleh and Matt LaFleur sticks out, in particular.

Saleh and LaFleur were grad assistants for Brian Kelly during his time at Central Michigan. And one night, the two young coaches thought they were invited to attend a party at Kelly’s home – not to be.

Brian Kelly proceeded to put Robert Saleh and Matt LaFleur to “work” – making them shovel snow while parking and retrieving cars for the actual guests of the party all night long.

Fans had a mixed reaction to the story about Brian Kelly, Matt LaFleur, and Robert Saleh.

Matt LaFleur and Robert Saleh appear to have gotten the last laugh on Brian Kelly.

While the LSU coach will look for his first National Championship in the Bayou, the two up-and-coming NFL coaches have just begun their journey on the biggest stage.

Sure, you could look at this story in many different ways. But one thing is for sure: Robert Saleh and Matt LaFleur aren’t meeting up with Brian Kelly to grab a beer when LSU is in the area in the future.
