Deshaun Watson’s lawyer is doing his best to explain Watson’s apparent love for acquiring massages via the social media platform. Hardin says the Houston Texans Quarterback has been getting 2-3 massages a week, or up to roughly 150 for the year. His reasoning why he uses social media, he explains Watson is an “active athlete” and travels constantly, so he found Instagram to be the best place to find Masseuses .

Hardin also confirmed Watson did have consensual encounters with the massage therapists, but says Watson never crossed the line:

“People can make back money if they lose money. What they can’t get back is their reputation,” Hardin said

Of course Watson is on Instagram constantly, everyone his age is on some social media platform at all times.

That being said, if you want a legitimate massage from licensed massage therapists, you definitely go a different route. Of course the whole pandemic thing does make it a little more difficult to go to massage places, but if you’re a famous rich athlete, you surely have the channels to legitimately acquire quality masseuses’ who are willing to travel.
