The Deshaun Watson saga is setting up to completely take over the NFL offseason. The Houston Texans quarterback reportedly wants out, as his relationship with the team’s ownership is broken beyond repair.

Houston is currently searching for their next head coach, and many thought they could make Deshaun Watson happy if they hired Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Not the case. According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Watson wants out regardless of who the team hires as head coach.

As @mortreport reported on ESPN’s Postseason NFL Countdown, the Texans’ head coaching hire is not expected to change Deshaun Watson’s thinking. He still is expected to want out of Houston, no matter who the head coach is, per sources,” Schefter wrote on Twitter.

Let the speculation on where Deshaun Watson will end up begin!

Honestly, if I’m Eric Bieniemy I don’t even want the Houston Texans job. That organization is so broken, and you know theres a good chance you won’t even have Deshaun Watson at your disposal. Frankly, I’m not even sure a young Don Shula would be able to come in and fix the Texans.

Eric Bieniemy has a good thing going with Andy Reid and the Chiefs. His time will come where he gets his shot as a head coach in the league. Don’t waste your career with the Texans.
