Deshaun Watson Reportedly Has Two Teams He’d Like to Play For

The Deshaun Watson trade rumors persist.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Deshaun Watson has two teams “on his radar” for a potential trade. According to the report, Watson has interest in the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While the Vikings have Kirk Cousins under contract, the Buccaneers definitely are in the market for a new QB now that Tom Brady has retired.

“The Texans quarterback, who spent the 2021 season on the team’s active roster but did not play, has begun evaluating potential fits for his services in 2022, with the Buccaneers and Vikings among teams on his radar,” Fowler said in the report.

Like most other news, fans swiftly reacted:

“Well this is a new development. Trading for Watson would present a huge conundrum for fans, including myself,” the fan said.

Watson is one of the more productive quarterbacks in the NFL, when he plays. And as long as he has those civil suits hanging over his head, it’s unlikely he’ll get traded.

If he can figure out a way to settle those suits he’ll get a reset on his career. The problem is the longer he waits the more it’s going to cost him.

Where will Watson play next? If I had to guess, probably nowhere.
