Miami Dolphins Don’t Deny Deshaun Watson Interest

A new report suggests when the probe into sexual assault against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will finish

Is Deshaun Watson close to being traded to the Miami Dolphins?

It certainly feels like we’ve been hearing that a Watson trade has been close all offseason long. But so far, nobody has been willing to take on the burden of acquiring a player who’s currently dealing with heavy legal trouble.

But on Tuesday, it was reported that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross “really wants” Deshaun Watson to come aboard his team.

While the Dolphins called the report ‘inaccurate’, they also didn’t deny the rumor that they could have some interest in Deshaun Watson right now.

Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores also spoke on the Deshaun Watson report. He called Tua Tagovailoa “our quarterback” but also didn’t exactly slam the report of some interest in the Texans’ star quarterback.

It seems like the report that Stephen Ross “really wants” Deshaun Watson might be a bit of an exaggeration, but there could be something here given the responses by the team.

It’s really hard to imagine that a team takes a chance on a QB who is currently battling over 20 sexual assault lawsuits, but perhaps some of these teams have intel that the NFL is going to be letting Watson play.

Time will tell if we see Deshaun Watson in the NFL this season.
