Demarcus Lawrence is no stranger to clapping back at fans, so this is no surprise. When you make the money that Lawrence makes, expectations will follow. Let’s face it, the Cowboys defense is very lackluster this year. 11 tackles and zero sacks aren’t going to get the job done even if he says people need to stop just looking at the stats.

What do you think? Is giving up 37pts per game going to get the job done? The Cowboys record certainly doesn’t say so. I know that isn’t all on Demarcus Lawrence, but that simply isn’t going to cut it. I will say if Lawrence is really playing his heart out like he claims to be it should show up in the defense’s production, even if it doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. However, telling fans to “f*ck off with that bull sh*t” is not going to boost morale. Ultimately Demarcus Lawrence and the Cowboys defense are going to have to find a way to get things done. A record of 1-3 at the end of the first quarter of the season is not what you would expect from a team that is supposed to be destined for the playoffs.

Luckily for Demarcus Lawrence and the Cowboys, the NFC East is easily the worst division in the National Football League. By far. There is a reason people have been calling it the NFC Least for years now. However, there is still plenty of room for the Cowboys to make the playoffs. Even if they only finish with a .500 record at best.
