The Chicago Bulls are reportedly looking into acquiring Demar DeRozan after they already landed Lonzo Ball in free agency

Could Demar DeRozan be joining Lonzo Ball in Chicago next season?

The Bulls acted quickly when free agency began and addressed their need at point guard by agreeing to a sign-and-trade with Lonzo Ball.

While Lonzo Ball has been on the Bulls’ list since last season’s Trade Deadline, it doesn’t appear like they’re satisfied.

New president of basketball ops Arturas Karnisovas has accelerate his rebuild, and he appears to want more. Next on his list could be Spurs wing Demar DeRozan.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bulls were interested in landing DeRozan with Lonzo in a three team trade.

“From what I am told, [the Bulls] are also interested in DeMar DeRozan, and are interested in pulling off a possible double sign-and-trade where they would send Lauri Markkanen to San Antonio,” Woj said earlier today.

Unfortunately for the Bulls, that trade never materialized, but they are sure to still have eyes on landing DeRozan.

Other teams who appear to be in the hunt for Demar DeRozan are believed to be the Lakers and Knicks, and Demar is said to be willing to take a pay cut to play for a championship with his hometown Lakers.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see who ends up landing Demar DeRozan
