Degen Bet Of The Day: Chinese Super League Soccer, Beijing Sinobo Guoan v. Tianjin Teda (Aug 6)

Degen Bet Of The Day - Chinese Super League Soccer, Beijing Sinobo Guoan v. Tianjin Teda (July 6)

We round out another Degen Bet Of The Day with the return to Chinese Super League soccer in its 17th season that began just under two weeks ago, along with a lopsided two-game slate heading into early Thursday morning.

I suppose if you operate on a League Of Legends LPL Degen sleep schedule, then this one will be right up your alley. Ready your barbecue, load up on your favorite array of barbecue meats to sear and get your 3 a.m. started off the right way.

(Or if that day job just happens to rear its ugly head, simply settle for the betting lines in advance and cross your filthy fingers)

If you’re a sucker for plus-money unlikelihoods, especially those typically influenced heavily by an undesirable moneyline for the favorite, this slate will make your pocket change shine that much brighter.

In the first of the two matches, we’re enabled to a Group B battle between No. 2 Beijing Sinobo Guoan and No. 6 Tianjin Teda, where your $10 can add an additional zero sans decimal.

However, that would require you get the gumption to wager on a +1100 to-win line for Tianjin Teda, who has an 0-1-1 record with five goals scored against them across their two matches played. The one silver lining to an otherwise lackluster Teda unit on paper is that they have managed to score three goals of their own (there is hope to be had).

On the other hand, heavy -450 favorite Beijing Sinobo Guoan comes into this Thursday morning treat with a 2-0-0 record, three goals scored as well, while allowing just one opponent score thus far.

In late October of 2019, the two teams played in what resulted in a 3-1 affair with Beijing Guoan coming away victorious (shocker). Here’s the recap of all the action in case you’re ever so inclined:

BSG’s three goals were notched by the likes of Cedric Bakambu (25’), Renato Augusto (80’), and Wang Ziming (88’), with Tianjin Teda’s lone goal coming on behalf of Sandro Wagner (64’), who has since retired (if that doesn’t add confidence).

If you want to get a bit more realistic to make your early morning cookout more of a buoyant interest, Tianjin Teda getting a +1.5, +2 at -110 on the spread seems doable considering the team’s ability to at least give a pulse to their side of the scoreboard.

The draw is a +475 moneyline, and -1.5, -2 at -115 for Beijing Guoan if you think the blowout is to ensue.

Unfortunately I can’t stay for the buffet, but will certainly entertain the dog on the spread.

Pick: Tianjin Teda +1.5, +2 (-110)
