Davante Adams Is Ready For Odell Beckham Jr To Join The Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers star receiver Davante Adams had a telling response when asked about the team's pursuit of Odell Beckham Jr.

Davante Adams and Odell Beckham Jr. would be a deadly receiver combo for Green Bay. And it looks like a deal could be on the horizon.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that OBJ was leaning towards joining the Green Bay Packers after being granted his release by the Browns.

When speaking of the possibility of Odell Beckham Jr. joining the squad, Davante Adams admitted that he had talked to the former Browns receiver. And would go on to say that he was “very confident” a deal would get done.

The Packers would appear to be the best fit out there for Odell Beckham Jr.

Sure, adding more drama to a team with Aaron Rodgers on it isn’t exactly ideal. But with the other contenders being the Saints and Chiefs, I think Green Bay makes the most sense.

Kansas City already has plenty of weapons, and I don’t think OBJ is looking to go from Baker Mayfield to Trevor Siemian as his quarterback.

In Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers would find a way to get OBJ the ball, and the team could really use a true wide receiver other than Davante Adams.

Odell Beckham Jr. to Green Bay feels like it could be announced any minute.
