Green Bay Packers star receiver Davante Adams had developed a strong working relationship with Aaron Rodgers.

While Rodgers has had his damaged relationship with the Packers’ organization take over headlines all Spring, Davante Adams has been asked to speak on what he’s hearing from the quarterback. Adams has continued to show his support for Rodgers, and would do so again after Aaron remained absent during the first day of mandatory minicamp.

“I’ll stand on the f***ing mountain and scream that I got his back,” Davante Adams said when asked about Aaron Rodgers.

While Aaron Rodgers is clearly upset about how he has been treated by the packers organization, Davante Adams still has a looming issue with his contract expiring at the end of the season, as well.

Even so, Davante says that he’s not interested in holding out from the team.

“Yeah I’ll be here. I’m from East Palo Alto, California. I grew up with zero dollars. I’m not forfeiting any of my money that I earned,” Davante Adams said on Tuesday.

You gotta love everything about Davante Adams. He has his quarterback’s back, while also showing that he isn’t interested in playing any of the contract games that may lose him money in the future.

For now, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are still members of the Green Bay Packers. But if the team doesn’t play their cards right, they could both be gone sooner rather than later.
