2020 has been a terrible year, unless your name is Dana White. White took a significant amount of criticism following his questionable decision to keep the UFC going throughout the entire pandemic. This move seemed to pay off for White and the UFC’s brand, the sport has seen a ratings uptick and now, White has a victory message for his haters.

In this video Dana White calls out many members of the media by name for saying that the UFC acted irresponsibly by continuing on during the early stages of the Coronavirus pandemic. At one point Dana says to his haters, “I don’t give a fu**”. White also says that he didn’t continue on with the fights to make money, and that he did it to keep his employees and fighters employed.

“The media said I was risking people’s health to line my own pockets,” White said via Fox News. ” I didn’t do this so I can make more money. I have plenty of money. I did this so my fighters can make money and my employers can continue to make a living and feed their families.”

UFC viewership was up 33% in 2020, and they gave gained many fans by being the only sporting event in the U.S that was active during the early months of the pandemic. Kudos to Dana White, I guess. He seems to have the UFC poised for a very bright future.
