Dana White is pulling out all of his tricks to try to get Khabib Nurmagomedov back in the ring. Khabib famously retired in the octagon after defeating Justin Gaethje in his last fight. White has maintained that he doesn’t think Khabib will actually stay retired, and has met with him to try to convince him to come back to UFC.

Today, Dana White made an announcement on Khabib’s future.

So there you have it. Khabib is evidently watching the fights next week, and will jump back into the ring if he sees something special.

I think the fight Dana White is dreaming about is a rematch between Khabib and Conor McGregor. McGregor will be fighting Dustin Poirier next week. If Conor puts on a show against Poirier, we might just get a Khabib-Conor 2.

That fight would be the biggest bout in UFC history, and would go a long way towards growing the sport and growing UFC’s brand.

Make it happen Dana. We all want to see another fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
