Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy is under the microscope after the team’s offense was non-existent in Justin Fields’ first NFL start on Sunday.

Fields was sacked nine total times, and the team could only muster 49 yards of total offense during the game.

Shortly after the game and into Monday morning, Bears fans were sharing their displeasure. They’ve successfully gotten “fire Matt Nagy” trending all over Twitter.

Bears fans aren’t the only ones who have seen enough of Matt Nagy.

On “Get Up” today, former NFLers Rex Ryan and Dan Orlovsky absolutely roasted Nagy’s game plan and play calling with Justin Fields.

When the Chicago Bears traded up to select Justin Fields, Matt Nagy was officially put on the clock. He has one chance to prove that he’s the right coach to develop the young quarterback.

On Sunday, Nagy failed miserably in his first audition to show that his offense can work with the right quarterback. He failed to proved that it was Mitch Trubisky’s fault that the offense was abysmal for the past two seasons. He failed to give a reason to the Bears fan base that he could bring a contender back to Chicago.

Matt Nagy failed so bad with Justin Fields on Sunday that it feels like the chances are slim to none that he starts the 2022 season as the head coach of the Bears.
