On Thursday afternoon, NFL fans were swarming social media after rumors of Lions running back D’Andre Swift being linked to a murder began to surface.

According to the report, an anonymous tipper called Philadelphia police to report that Swift had been involved in a murder. But so far, he is not being investigated.

On Friday, Lions coach Dan Campbell was asked if D’Andre Swift was being investigated for the murder.

“Not to my knowledge,” Campbell replied.

D’Andre Swift was sidelined with a groin injury through August, but he appears to be good to go for the game on Sunday.

So far, it’s unclear if there’s actually any merit to these wild murder rumors surrounding Swift.

But it doesn’t appear that he’s in any immediate danger of being investigated or charged at this time.
