Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are hyping up the intrigue for their trilogy fight on July 10 with a series of back-and-forth jabs on social media.

It all started when McGregor suggested that the first guy who went for a takedown in the fight was copping out.

After that, Poirier responded by reminding the Irish superstar that this was mixed martial arts, and he was going to do whatever it took to win the fight.

And then Conor had a expletive-laden response of his own.

McGregor responded, “Best boxer, my a**! Shooting a**, shelling a** b****.”

Conor McGregor wasn’t done with Dustin Poirier.

It doesn’t really seem like Conor McGregor is interested in a fight where Dustin Poirier goes for takedowns all the time. Or maybe he’s just trying to get in his opponents head a little bit.

Either way, we’re in for a real spectacle on July 10.

Conor McGregor fights never disappoint. And now, he has something to prove against Dustin Poirier and all of his doubters.
