Coach K Chased Down Opposing Player Who Talked Trash to the Coaching Legend

Never disrespect Coach K.

Coach K was not a fan of trash talk from an opposing player this week.

Yellow Jackets leading scorer Michael Devoe make a gesture towards the Duke bench. It appeared the gesture was directed at Coach K.

Coach K thought also thought so, as Devoe was pointing towards him. So Coach K chased down the Georgia Tech guard to let him know that wouldn’t fly.

Devoe spoke to reporters after the game, he explained that he was talking to Duke’s bench, not Coach K.

Devoe said Coach K misinterpreted his message:

Devoe on coach K's response, "He said you don't know who you're talking to. But I was just trying to compete with them. That's all there was. So I guess he took it the wrong way. But me as a competitor I want to beat Duke."

Coach K is in his final year coaching, and clearly is not going to let anyone disrespect him.
