The Notre Dame football coach is going to need to answer a lot of questions this week after saying that the whole team should be executed in an on-field interview following the team’s overtime win over Florida State.

You can tell Coach Kelly was frustrated following Florida State’s 18-point comeback in the 4th quarter, but to say that the whole team needed to be executed seemed a little over the top.

I will be honest, when I first saw the interview I thought he just misspoke and was talking about how the whole team needed to be vaccinated, but then realized nope, this dude just said that the whole team should be killed.

In today’s cancel culture, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some sort of fine or comment from the NCAA towards Coach Kelly.

An even bigger story from the game was McKenzie Milton jumping in during the 4th quarter and leading the Seminoles back to tie the game. Milton was injured November 23rd, 2018 while playing for UCF. He suffered a nasty knee dislocation and almost lost his leg.

On Sunday night, he led his team back from the dead to almost winning it all in over time, if not for a missed field goal from 37 yards out.

Notre Dame won 41-38 over Florida State.

One thing we can all agree on, is that it is great to have college football back. The stadiums were roaring and the atmosphere was electric.
