Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Porter Jr. was involved in a horrific car crash on Sunday night. While he might eventually face discipline from the state and the NBA, it seems Porter Jr. was lucky to not be injured during the scary accident. Cops just released photos from the crash and they are not pretty.

It definitely looks like Kevin Porter Jr. did a pretty good job fucking up his Mercedes. These pictures make it hard to believe he came out unscathed, but thank god.

The craziest part of this whole thing is that Porter Jr. actually admitted to being under the influence prior to the crash. According to TMZ, Porter Jr. admitted to police that he had been drinking a little bit earlier in the night. However, he didn’t present “clues of impairment” during a sobriety test.

Because he passed the sobriety test, Porter Jr. was not charged with a DUI. Officers did find a loaded handgun in his Mercedes Benz, and he has pled not guilty to a felony gun charge. Kevin Porter Jr. might be in a little bit of trouble, but it looks like the young NBA player should be happy that he’s alive. This could have been a whole lot worse.

Kevin Porter Jr. was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. He played in 50 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 10 points per contest. It looks like Porter Jr. could have a bright future in the NBA. He needs to be a little smarter going forward.
