Rashard Higgins went full Fast And Furious, and it got him into some trouble. The Cleveland Browns receiver was cited on a drag racing charge in Ohio on Tuesday morning. The receiver took to Twitter to make a joke out of his drag racing citation.

“Foot slipped,” Higgins wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

The Cleveland browns sent out a brief statement on Higgins’ drag racing situation.

“We are aware of the incident, will gather more information and handle this matter appropriately,” a team spokesman said.

As if the Browns didn’t have enough problems. The team will be forced to play without head coach Kevin Stefanski and Pro-Bowl guard Joel Bitonio due to COVID, and now, they’ll have to worry about Rashard Higgins and his need for speed.

Higgins played a big role for Baker Mayfield and the Browns receiving corps this season in the absence of Odell Beckham Jr. On the year Higgins has 599 receiving yards and four touchdowns. It might be time for him to spend more time prepping on for the Pittsburgh Steelers and less time joyriding though Ohio.

Higgins is reportedly due back in court on this matter later in the month.
