Clay Travis Unleashes Hell On Jemele Hill After The Former ESPN Host Called Him An ‘Idiot’

Outkick's Clay Travis was quick to lash out at Jemele Hill and Dan Le Batard after the duo called him out in wake of the Rachel Nichols debacle

Conservative sports personality Clay Travis and former ESPN host Jemele Hill have gone back-and-forth for many years now. But maybe their biggest series of call-outs occurred on Thursday.

Hill joined “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” to talk about the Rachel Nichols comments. She was quick to call out Travis as one of the ‘idiots’ that ESPN has listened to in the past.

“They let a false narrative persist about our show that people ran away with,” Hill said. “They let the idiots in the room control the conversation, people like Clay Travis. They allowed those people to direct their course of action. They panicked, and suddenly, they were very intentional about the things that they were doing in our show. They wanted black faces. They didn’t necessarily want black voices.”

The Jemele Hill call out happens at around the 12:50 mark of the video. But Dan Le Batard also got in on the Clay Travis hate earlier in the segment, referring to the Outkick personality as a “sh*t stain”.

Clay Travis was quick to respond to Jemele Hill and Le Batard, claiming that their ‘wokeness’ is the reason for their demise in the sports world.

“My good friend Jemele Hill called me an idiot for calling out the woke brigade at ESPN and pointing out how they always fail,” Travis said. “The woker you are, the more you fail when it comes to producing a substantial audience in the world of sports. The data does not lie. You fail if you decide to be woke.”

“Jemele Hill, failure. Bomani Jones, failure. Pablo Torre, failure. Rachel Nichols now, failure. Max Kellerman, failure,” Travis continued. “All of these guys fail when they are compared with other people in their line of work who are doing legitimately decent, interesting, in the world of sports takes.”

“Jemele Hill called me an idiot for pointing out a truth,” Travis said. “That her show failed, because she wasn’t that interesting and she wasn’t that engaging and the mass audience at ESPN didn’t respond to her.”

“Dan Le Batard’s radio show, failed on traditional radio,” the Outkick founder and conservative radio host added. “People weren’t interesting in listening to it, maybe it will do well as a podcast.”

I’m sure we haven’t heard the end from Clay Travis and Jemele Hill. You’d be pretty hard-pressed to find two more opposite people in sports media.
