Chicago Bears receiver Allen Robinson has had a rocky relationship with the organization since before last season. Robinson wanted to receive a contract extension, and be paid as a top receiver in the league. But the two sides could never come to an agreement. A-Rob played the entire 2020 season on the last year of his contract, but made it clear he wasn’t happy about.

While Allen Robinson doesn’t have a contract for next season, he is viewed as a prime candidate for the franchise tag, which would keep him in Chicago for at least another year. Robinson doesn’t really seem like he has any interest in playing under the franchise tag, though. Check out his latest tweet.

Allen Robinson was also active on social media during Sunday night’s Super Bowl.

So Allen Robinson has made it clear that he wants to get paid top-dollar, and play for a contender. The Bears have proven that they can’t offer the former, and the latter is very much up in the air. While still playing at a high level, the defense is aging. The offense is looking for a new quarterback. The head coach and GM are entering next season on the hot seat.

The Chicago Bears aren’t really the ideal situation for Allen Robinson, who just want to be appreciated with a quality organization. The receiver’s future in Chicago is dicey, at best.
