Chicago Bears Fans Are Ecstatic After Justin Fields Named Starting Quarterback

A current coach in the NFL suggested that the next Bears GM will look into the possibility of trading Justin Fields during this offseason

It’s Justin Fields time for the Chicago Bears.

After Andy Dalton went down with a knee injury during the game against the Bengals last week, Fields filled in.

And even though the MRI’s came back relatively clean on Dalton, the bone bruise will be enough to keep him out for this week’s game in Cleveland.

On Wednesday, coach Matt Nagy announced that Justin Fields will be the starting quarterback in Dalton’s absence.

Shortly after the announcement was made, Bears fans everywhere were celebrating the fact that Justin Fields is now the QB1.

While Justin Fields will be the starter for now, Matt Nagy re-iterated that Andy Dalton will still be the team’s quarterback when he returns from his injury.

Justin Fields will have the tall task of going against a tough Cleveland Browns defense this week. But if he succeeds, it’s hard to picture Nagy actually going back to Andy Dalton whenever he returns.

Bears fans will cross that bridge when they get to it, though. For now, it’s time to see what the future franchise quarterback does as the QB1.
