The NFL Draft is an exciting time for many fans. Just not Bears fans. For them, it’s more anxiety-inducing.

During general manager Ryan Pace’s seven-year tenure with the team, he has made some fine draft picks. But it’s been heavily outweighed by the boneheaded moves. Most notably, when Pace traded up to take Mitchell Trubisky over Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes in 2017.

After the Trubisky experiment has officially failed (and he signed with the Bills to be a backup earlier in the offseason), Ryan Pace is officially back to the drawing board. That’s a scary thing for Bears fans to hear.

With the draft happening today, Bears fans have flocked to social media to share their concerns over what Ryan Pace will do.

Ryan Pace would certainly have to do a lot in order to instill some confidence in a Bears fan base who has already given up on him. It’ll be interesting to see if Pace drafts a quarterback, or if he remains comfortable with Andy Dalton as his guy moving forward.

We’ll all just have to watch and see what Ryan Pace has up his sleeve. If history is any indication, it’ll be nothing good.
