Charles Oakley Says Charles Barkley Is No Longer Invited to ‘The Cookout’

During "Inside The NBA" on Thursday night, Charles Barkley went off on the 'coward' Lakers for scapegoating Frank Vogel and Russell Westbrook

27 May 2010: TNT analyst Charles Barkley discusses the game before the Los Angeles Lakers 103-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Two of the baddest Charles to ever play in the NBA are no longer friends.

According to Charles Oakley,  Charles Barkley doesn’t have many friends,  in fact according to the Oak Tree, no one is interested in hanging out with him anymore.

Charles spoke to the Toronto Star about his upcoming memoir “The Last Enforcer”, where he discussed Charles Barkley.

“He’s not close with Michael [Jordan] no more. I don’t know who he’s really on [good] terms with now,” the former Knicks enforcer wrote about Barkley, a Hall of Fame forward and TNT analyst.

“So I know he wants to come to the cookout and play 18 holes with us. But we’re not inviting him no more. He’s out. You act up, you go stand in the corner with one leg in the air …. That’s Charles, in the corner of the playground by himself. You can see him, because he’s kind of big.”

The Oak Tree also spoke about Chuck in a separate interview with GQ. He has no issues with him.

“He probably got an issue with me – ‘Why Oak always gotta talk about me?’” Oakley said. “Same way you get to talk about these young kids now, trying to make a living for themselves.

What’s up with these old heads throwing everyone under the bus just to sell a book.

First Scottie, now Oakley. SMH.
