Charles Barkley Shockingly Takes The High Road With Scottie Pippen

During "Inside The NBA" on Thursday night, Charles Barkley went off on the 'coward' Lakers for scapegoating Frank Vogel and Russell Westbrook

27 May 2010: TNT analyst Charles Barkley discusses the game before the Los Angeles Lakers 103-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Charles Barkley is just one of many people who have fallen victim to Scottie Pippen’s wrath over the past couple of weeks.

Pippen is entering the limelight lately ahead of his new book, which is set to be his response to Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” docuseries.

In one of Scottie Pippen’s rants, he called out Charles Barkley, saying he wasn’t afraid of him because he’s only ever squared up with small white guys off of the basketball court.

While NBA fans were expecting Charles Barkley to come after Scottie Pippen, he opted to laugh off the comments by the former Bull.

Charles Barkley also suggested that Scottie Pippen was only trying to sell copies of his book with all of these comments lately.

“I know you got a new book coming out. It’s really unfortunate that you are taking shots at everybody, myself included. But I am not going to respond. Alright, you wanna sell your book, bless you brother, good luck with your book. But just taking shots at Michael, myself. Oh, and you took shots at Kevin Durant, and LeBron and Phil.”

I highly doubt that Scottie Pippen’s new book will do anything to change the narrative around him. And Charles Barkley seems to think the whole thing isn’t really worth his time or energy.
