Chad Johnson Proves His Cool Dude Status With A $1,000 Tip And Heartfelt Message At A Re-Opened Florida Restaurant

Despite some off-field antics when he was a player, Chad Johnson nee Ochocinco nee Johnson has always seemed like a guy who’s far more good than bad. He hasn’t played a down in the NFL since the 2011 season but he’s still out there with a Twitch channel and some media appearances and deals with EA and Adidas. He seems like a legitimately nice dude who appreciates the opportunities life has given him. And this is one of those times where it’s nice to see someone back up the public persona with actions.

Johnson previously did something similar as he left big tips at restaurants to commemorate some of his biggest NFL performances. But this is a different scenario during a global pandemic that’s shown the true character of a lot of people out there. Even if the posting the tip to Twitter is a bit of self-fellatio, it’s just a nice thing to do from a guy who reps Florida as hard as one can.
