As people are still shell-shocked at the crazy turn of events for the Celtics, many are wondering who Stevens an co. will select to coach the team.

What’s Next For The Celtics?

While Celtics fans were clamoring for the team to poach Michigan head coach Juwan Howard, it looks like the team will be looking for someone with a little more NBA experience.

According to Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, Jason Kidd and former Atlanta Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce are two names to watch for the job.

No matter who the Celtics select, they’ll have a tall task ahead of them. The Celtics have two young, promising star players in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. But they’ve proven that the team is just not a serious contender as they are currently constructed.

No matter who Boston selects, whether it’s Lloyd Pierce, Jason Kidd, or anyone else, Brad Stevens will need to add some more talent around the teams’ young nucleus.

The Celtics offseason has gotten off to a dramatic start, and we’ll see just where they go from here.
