Bucs fan Byron Kennedy is a little bit more well known than he was when he woke up yesterday morning.

Kennedy was given the 600th TD pass by Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans, who did not know the TD was a record setting one. Some even suggested a trade for Tom’s wife would have done the trick.

A Bucs staffer quickly went to Bucs fan Bryon Kennedy and got the historic football. Now we know what he got in exchange.   According to Greg Auman of the The Athletic, Kennedy received another game ball, one not as signficant,  and he  also $1,000 gift card to the Buccaneers’ team shop.

The football could have possibly sold for anywhere north of 500K

Tom did say he would hook up Kennedy as well:

This beats the hell out of getting into a fight at an NFL game.
