Bryson DeChambeau was the heavy favorite to win the Masters this weekend. He has not lived up to the billing. In fact, he claims to be feeling a little ill after disappointing through his first two rounds.

DeChambeau struggled through his first 36 holes, and barely even made the cut line. According the New York Post, he went for a COVID-19 test, citing dizziness, on Friday Night. The test came back negative.

Bryson’s play has drawn the criticism of many around the golf world. One of which being Instagram model Paige Spiranac.

Spiranac’s joke stems from DeChambeau’s build and playing style. During quarantine, DeChambeau bulked up. He now gets the most distance out of anybody on the tour.

Paige Spriranac had a brief stint in professional golf. She now has a podcast where she talks about golf and many other topics. This is not the first time she has gone after Bryson DeChambeau.

“I used to be a big Bryson fan. I was all in on Bryson … I thought he was doing things that were different, innovative and he is who he is, and I respect that,” she said on her latest Playing-A-Round podcast.

“But in the last few weeks it’s been really hard to be a Bryson fan. He’s crossed that line from being different to being a d**k.

Bryson DeChambeau was very cocky coming into this week. Here was what he had to say about his chances to dominate at Augusta National.

“I’m looking at it as a par 67 for me because I can reach all the par-5s in two, no problem,” DeChambeau told ESPN on Tuesday. “If the conditions stay the way they are, that’s what I feel like par is for me. “That’s not me being big-headed. I can hit it as far as I want to …”

Turns out, DeChambeau couldn’t back up the big talk. Maybe next year, Bryson.
