Bruce Arians Won’t Commit To Antonio Brown Being On Roster When He Returns From Injury

According to a report, the animosity between Antonio Brown and the Buccaneers started long before his tantrum during the Jets game Sunday

Bruce Arians made it clear when he signed Antonio Brown in 2020 that it was going to be on a zero-tolerance basis. And if the troubled receiver were to become a distraction, he would be gone.

So after AB was suspended for lying about his vaccination status, may were wondering: are the Bucs going to pull the plug on him?

When Bruce Arians was asked about the matter on Friday, he certainly didn’t sound too pleased with Antonio Brown, saying he’s “pissed off” with the whole situation.

He would go on to say that he won’t be talking about the players’ future until he returns from the suspension.

“The league did their due diligence and we move on,” Arians said. “I will not address those guys for the next three weeks. They’ll just be working out and then we’ll address their future at that time.”

Will Bruce Arians keep Antonio Brown on the Buccaneers?

Bruce Arians would also talk about his hopes that the NFL would look around the league for the possibility that other players are forging their vaccination statuses. And would also say he still feels his team handled the pandemic better than others.

“In the last two years, I don’t know if there’s been a team better at COVID than we’ve been. This is a setback because of what happened. But we have done an amazing job, and even when the guys — we have never had an outbreak in a position room. So I’m very happy with that part.”

If I had to guess, I’d say Antonio Brown will remain on the Buccaneers when he returns. He’s too important to the team’s success. And it would undoubtedly upset Tom Brady if they were to send him packing.

Bruce Arians might not be happy. But when push comes to shove, AB’s too talented to let go.
