Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown has been a lot better about staying out of the tabloids since linking up with Bruce Arians’ team. But this week, AB was back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

Brown’s former personal chef came out with a scathing accusation that the star receiver purchased a fake COVID vaccine card prior to the season in order to receive lax protocols by the league.

On Friday, Bruce Arians was asked if he was suspicious that maybe Antonio Brown had really been using a fake vax card this whole time.

“None whatsoever,” Arians told reporters. “We did our due diligence. The league will do theirs. The statement says everything. I really don’t think it’s a story and it has nothing to do with the Giants game.”

Bruce Arians alluded to a statement sent out by the Buccaneers in wake of the Antonio Brown rumors when answering the question.

“After an extensive educational process conducted throughout our organization this past offseason highlighting the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccines, we received completed vaccination cards from all Tampa Bay Buccaneers players and submitted the required information to the NFL through the established process in accordance with the league policy,” the team said. “All vaccination cards were reviewed by Buccaneers personnel and no irregularities were observed.”

Antonio Brown has been nursing a sprained ankle – which has kept him sidelined for the last couple of games. It’s up-in-the-air if the receiver will be at Bruce Arians’ disposal on Sunday.
