Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau will kiss and make up for now. Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker doesn’t expect the Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau feud to continue. Stricker told Sports Illustrated that he has talked to both players individually, and they’ve both given Stricker their word that they won’t have any issues when they become teammates next month for the Ryder Cup.

“They assured me that the team and the country and everything else that goes into this is their [top priority],” Stricker told SI. “They said it’s not going to be an issue, and I believe them. I trust them. As far as I’m concerned, it’s been put to bed.”

“We haven’t heard Brooks say anything about Bryson lately,” Stricker pointed out. “This Ryder Cup means a lot to these guys. Neither one wants to be the root of a problem. They both understand.”

Today Brooks Koepka addressed the report, and said he can deal with anyone for a week if it’s about business.

“It’s only a week,” Koepka told reporters during The Open. “Look, I can put it aside for business. If we’re going to be on the same team, I can deal with anybody for a week.”

Obviously these two won’t be paired together.

The drama is way more fun when they’re not on the same side.
