Brooklyn Nets Fined After Allowing Kyrie Irving In Their Locker Room

Vaccination laws are real.

Nets superstar Kyrie Irving isn’t allowed to play home games for the Brooklyn Nets, however, he is allowed to watch them courtside.

Unfortunately, for the Nets, the rules won’t be changing in the immediate future, and it seems as though the rules are even more confusing than originally thought. For instance, Irving can watch games courtside, but when it comes to actually interacting with his teammates in the locker room, that he can not do.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the Nets were fined $50K by the league for breaking COVID safety protocols.

The New York law states that the locker room is a place of work. Having Kyrie in the locker room is a breach of the laws that have been put in place.

At this point all of these rules pertaining to Kyrie are just comical.
