Following the cryptic IG post, Brian Gutekunst was asked if he'd let Aaron Rodgers leave if the QB demands to be traded during the offseason

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst met with the media on Wednesday afternoon. And of course, the main topic reporters want to touch on was Aaron Rodgers.

The reigning MVP took to Instagram earlier in the week to set social media ablaze while sending ‘gratitude’ to all the special people in his life.

As it turned out, Aaron Rodgers claimed he was just getting out of a 12-day cleanse — which was the basis of his cryptic post — and that he was still undecided on his future.

So it appears as though Aaron Rodgers could still ask to be traded from the Green Bay Packers (like he did last season). But when asked if he would grant the wish, Brian Gutekunst deflected.

Brian Gutekunst would also say during his presser that his goal remains to keep Aaron Rodgers and star receiver Davante Adams in Green Bay for the foreseeable future.

While we wait Rodgers’ ultimate decision on his future, Gutekunst and the Packers have to be impatient, considering they’ll be forced to enter the market for a starting quarterback if he decides its time for him to move on.

I think the most logical scenario is that Aaron Rodgers returns to Green Bay next season. And deep down, Brian Gutekunst probably thinks so, too.
