Many players around the NFL have already been fined this pre-season for violating COVID protocols, for not wearing masks inside facilities, or have missed practices because of close-contacts and not being vaccinated.

Earlier this week the Buffalo Bills dealt with some COVID protocols after a staff member tested positive on Tuesday. Cole Beasley and Isaiah McKenize were both fined $16,650 for not wearing a mask inside the team facility as it is a requirement for unvaccinated players.

Everyone already knows Cole Beasley’s stance on the vaccine, but McKenzie decided that enough was enough and that he was not happy being fined.

McKenzie posted on his Instagram story Saturday that he was now vaccinated and did it “for the greater good”.

More and more players seem to be buying in to getting vaccinated, but we will surely see more issues of close-contacts and unvaccinated players breaking protocol.

In the end, there will no doubt be more issues with players missing games even as teams and coaches try to do as much as they can to keep everyone in a bubble.
