Bill Simmons Cosigns Heat Taking Down LeBron and AD to Injury

Bill Simmons has been in the game for a very long time. Occasionally he’s been known to say  some pretty controversial things.

But did he cross the line between controversial and downright wrong?

The conversation in question was between Stugotz and Bill Simmons, and they were discussing what the Heat will need to do in order to compete.

Stugotz said the Heat should send in Udonis Haslem to take out LeBron and AD.  To which Bill Simmons replied:

“That’s a Brilliant Idea”

Of course this sounds like it was mostly in jest, but joking about injury is not very PC. Especially with the PC police patrolling 24/7.

Back in the day this was definitely a thing. Some suggest Bam was intentionally injured.

The injury riddled Heat are going to have to do something in order to make this into a series, but injuring the Lakers two biggest stars are obviously not an option.

Hopefully they can make this into a series by playing the right way.
