Bill Belichick may have a soft spot, after all.

It was trending everywhere during the 2020 NFL Draft when Belichick’s dog was seen sitting in his chair during the selection process.

During Monday’s media availability, Bill Belichick cracked from his usual demeanor when reporter Evan Lazar’s dog came up behind him during the press conference.

When the dog came on the screen, Bill actually grinned before proposing that the pup should ask the next question, and maybe his dog could answer.

Bill Belichick is in strict mode with the NFL season right around the corner.

And It’s usually hard to get an answer from Belichick at all, even if it’s a good question. But we may have just cracked the code for any New England-based reporter looking to get on Bill’s good side. Just bring a dog in the picture.

Perhaps Bill Belichick has a heart, after all.
