Bettor Places Insane $10K Wager On The Awful Washington Wizards To Win The NBA Championship

The Washington Wizards have one man who must really believe in them turning their season around. They’re 8-17, in second to last place, Bradley Beal looks checked out, they don’t play defense, but one bettor has a lot of faith in them nonetheless.

According to BetMGM, a bettor placed a $10,000 wager on the Wizards to win the NBA Championship. This season. The bet would pay out $5 Million.

This is the equivalent of throwing money in the garbage. I’ve been wrong many times in the past, but I can still say with 100% confidence that the Washington Wizards are not going to win the NBA Championship this year. In fact, I highly doubt they would come within 10 points of the Lakers in a 7-game series.

The Wizards hoped that acquiring Russell Westbrook in the offseason would provide the team with some energy, but it doesn’t really seem to be working. The team’s best course of action may just be to trade Bradley Beal (despite his wishes) and begin to rebuild the roster from the ground up.

What a complete waste on $10,000 dollars.
