More Reports Indicate Ben Simmons Is ‘Done’ Playing With Joel Embiid

Clutch Sports CEO Rich Paul called on the 76ers to respect Ben Simmons' mental health after the point guard continues to say he's not ready to play

The Ben Simmons saga is raging on with the NBA season right around the corner. And the main storyline continues to be the fractured relationship he has with teammate Joel Embiid.

Simmons has made his intentions clear that he would like to be traded from the 76ers following his lackluster performance in last year’s postseason.

Despite the fact they never seemed to connect too much on or off the floor, Joel Embiid was reportedly willing to fly out to Ben Simmons in order to convince him to show up to the team.

But Simmons declined the offer.

Ben Simmons is also reportedly making it known that he doesn’t want to play with Joel Embiid anymore. Apparently it’s nothing personal, but Simmons just thinks he can excel more on a team that doesn’t have a big center clogging up the lane.

While Joel Embiid and other 76ers members are arrival to the team’s facility, Ben Simmons remains absent.

So far, president Daryl Morey has set his asking price much too high for Simmons, and it’s unclear if he’s willing to lower it if the point guard continues to hold out.

The 76ers might just end up playing a game of chicken with Ben Simmons, and we’ll all find out if he’s really willing to leave money on the table for not showing up to Philly.
