Chicago Bears Safety Eddie Jackson has had enough of the bullshit with his team. He was apparently very vocal in the locker room following the Bears 19-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Bears insider Adam Hoge, Eddie Jackson took over the Bears locker room following their loss today. He called out anybody holding their heads down or sulking, and anybody who allowed them to do so.

The Chicago Bears have gone from a contender to somewhat of a laughingstock. Ever since Cody Parkey missed the game winning kick in the playoff game against the Eagles in 2018, the Bears have been doomed.

The Chicago Bears have built an elite defense around Eddie Jackson, Khalil Mack, and Akiem Hicks, but it doesn’t matter. Their offense is so bad that no matter how good their defense is on any given night, they will still be behind the 8-ball.

I give Eddie Jackson props here. It takes a true leader to look a broken locker room in the eyes and tell them to pick it up, and he has done just that. I don’t expect the Bears to respond to Jackson’s plea, though. They are simply not good enough.

It might be time to clean house in Chicago. Sure, they’re 5-5, but they have one of the worst offensive units in all of football and it isn’t getting better any time soon. Let’s just hope the Bears can figure this mess out while Eddie Jackson and a solid Bears defense is still in their prime.
