New Report Indicates How Badly Matt Nagy Has lost His Locker Room

Chicago bears head coach Matt Nagy came into the season with something to prove if he wanted to keep his job past the year. And so far, he’s done just the opposite.

Nagy’s Bears are currently enduring a five game losing streak – sitting at a disappointing 3-6 on the season. But perhaps what’s even more alarming is that the offense has failed to take a significant step in the right direction with rookie Justin Fields under center instead of Mitchell Trubisky.

In the waning moments of the Bears’ embarrassing loss to the Lamar Jackson-less Ravens, “fire Matt Nagy” chanting were reigning down at Soldier Field in Chicago.

But while Matt Nagy has obviously fallen out of favor with his fan base, apparently there’s a more alarming development.

According to a report, several Chicago Bears players are sick and tired of Nagy’s shtick.

Many Bears fans were hoping to wake up Monday to the news that Matt Nagy has finally been fired. But once again, the head coach took his usual spot at the podium to talk about “why” the team can’t take the next step forward.

Pretty much every report out of Chicago indicates that Nagy is a dead man walking, which would beg the question: what exactly is the Bears brass waiting for?

Matt Nagy has proven that he’s not the right guy to mentor Justin Fields and the young roster going forward. And it’s time to pull the plug already.
