What did Nick Foles ever do to Bart Scott. Sheesh.

The former NFL linebacker went on the Keyshaw, JWill & Zubin show on ESPN Radio this morning and dropped this quote about Nick Foles needing to be carted off the field on Monday Night Football.

“He got a bruise,” Bart Scott said. “The man looked like he was crying. You know who Nick Foles is, he is that dude screaming I’m drowning I’m drowning and somebody says hey stand up. Oh, all I had to do was stand up. He got a boo-boo.”

Nick Foles was carted off the field after being taken to the turf late in the fourth quarter.

Foles came down on his hip/glute, and was taken off the field on a cart as a precautionary measure. Luckily for Nick Foles, he doesn’t appear to have a very serious injury. Bears head coach Matt Nagy says the injury, “isn’t as bad as we once thought,” according to Adam Schefter. Foles is currently considered day-to-day.

Nick Foles’ performance has been so bad that it might not even matter if he’s healthy for the Bears after the bye. Nagy has said that he is “open” to turning the job back over to Mitch Trubisky.

Whether it’s Foles or Trubisky under center for the Bears, it doesn’t really matter. The Bears offense is doomed. Bart Scott can keep laughing.
