Baker Mayfield Trending Following Monday’s Quarterback News

According to a report, the Cleveland Browns might look to bring in some competition for Baker Mayfield during this offseason after a lackluster 2021-22 season

Two more QB-needy teams have seemingly passed on a Baker Mayfield.

On Monday, it was reported that the Colts were in agreement with the Falcons on a trade for veteran QB Matt Ryan. And shortly thereafter, Atlanta seemingly filled their void by inking Marcus Mariota to a two-year contract.

With two more teams filling the quarterback void, many are starting to wonder: where will Baker Mayfield land?

It was widely reported that Baker Mayfield’s trade preference was to the Indianapolis Colts. But their brass also made it clear that they wanted someone with better leadership qualities than Carson Wentz — and Mayfield has proven he’s likely not that guy.

Now, the former first overall selection in the NFL Draft will have to face the likelihood that his best options are with a rebuilding team who will give him one year to prove himself as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

After the Colts and Falcons landed on their next QB, some other potential landing spots for Baker Mayfield include the Seahawks, Panthers and Texans.

We’ll see where Baker will end up. But after Monday’s news, he can’t be too happy…
