It’s been a rough start for Baker Mayfield in Carolina.

Baker’s tenure in Carolina is off a rocky start after the quarterback is once again hearing boos from the crowd, something he heard during the ends of his days playing in Cleveland. Once again this past weekend Baker Mayfield completed struggled throughout the game as the Panthers lost to the Cardinals and late in the fourth quarter, the fans in Carolina rained down Boos on Mayfield and the Panthers.

But Baker Mayfield is here to tell you, he doesn’t care:

“Obviously I’m frustrated about the fact that we’re 1-3,” Mayfield told reporters. “That’s it, though. We’re four weeks into the year. We can sit here and let you guys pile on us or we’re gonna come together as a locker room. That’s exactly how we’re gonna handle it. I don’t really care about the fact that our fans are booing or what’s going on. We’re going to figure it out and when we win it’ll still be just us in the locker room and that’s all I care about. So we’re going to be just fine.”

The Panthers traded for Mayfield this past offseason in what many people expect to be Mayfield’s last chance to stay an NFL starter.

Stephen A. Smith believes his career is now in jeopardy.

If it doesn’t work in Carolina, and so far it hasn’t, it would be surprising to see Mayfield ever start again. The guy needs to change his attitude fast.
