Antonio Brown Reacts To Ben Roethlisberger Calling It A Career

Former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Antonio Brown sent a message to Ben Roethlisberger after the QB announced he was calling it a career Thursday

Perhaps nobody had a more successful connection with Ben Roethlisberger than troubled receiver, Antonio Brown.

For many years, the duo led to Pittsburgh producing a top offense in the entire NFL. But at the end of their time together, things got a bit contentious (as they usually do with AB). And the receiver went on his way.

In 2019, Antonio Brown even went out of his way to call out Ben Roethlisberger for calling what they had together a “friendship”.

Now, though, Antonio Brown has nothing but nice things to say about Ben Roethlisberger. And earlier in the year, AB implied that Big Ben still has some good football left in the tank.

When Ben Roethlisberger released a chilling video to confirm that he was, in fact, retiring, Antonio Brown chimed in on social media with high praise for ol’ #7.

“Best tandem in the NFL, Congrats Legend,” Brown wrote on social media.

It appears that Antonio Brown has a little more gratitude for Ben Roethlisberger now than he did when their time together came to an end earlier in his career.

After a successful run with another Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, AB finds himself in a familiar position — looking for a team to take him on after a tumultuous and abrupt conclusion to another chapter of his career.

So far, Antonio Brown has claimed he wants to play for Lamar Jackson’s Ravens next season. But it remains to be seen whether or not John Harbaugh and Baltimore’s brass will take on that burden.
